Andragogy and Distance Education
This presentation was created as a demonstration of understanding during training for the Florida Digital Educator (FDE) program. This presentation demonstrates the tenets of Andragogy and the use of Presi as a presentation tool. Florida Digital Educators are called upon with little advanced notice to provide technology training opportunities to fellow staff members outside of established teaching duties. Participants were given a topic and 2 hours to research and create a presentation using an assigned presentation tool.
Educator Tech Skills
Every educator should have knowledge of the terminology of educational technology and the programs that are associated with productivity, production, and curation. This asynchronous 10 slide training lesson for teachers focuses on the terminology as it applies to common core standards.
The district purchased a Google domain for each school and we were tasked with demonstrating setting up Google Groups for teachers. This presentation was created in partnership with Mike Simpson.
